Soulmen

The late Bernie Mac will share the screen with the man of many Hair pieces, Samuel L. Jackson. Seriously he makes wearing a hair piece cooler than a winter night.

All Grown up ::: Rudy

All grown up:
Television
child star, Keshia Knight Pulliam, 29, has certainly out grown her role
as the cute adorable Rudy Huxtable of the family sitcom, The Cosby
Show. The talented actress has made a name for herself by turning her childhood success into solid adult roles. Pulliam has gone from working
with one heavy-hitter, the legendary Bill Cosby, to another-Tyler
Perry, a film/TV/theater legend in the making. A new generation is now
enjoying her talents each week on the top-rated TBS sitcom, Tyler
Perry’s House of Payne as Miranda. “It’s wonderful to work with someone
like Tyler Perry who is an innovator in everything he’s done,” said
Pulliam. “Being such a highly acclaimed show, it was a perfect fit.”
What’s next for Pulliam? Early next year she will star in the film
Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail. Pulliam will portray a troubled
prostitute named Candy. “I was so excited to play this role. It’s so
‘out the box’ from anything that anyone has seen of me,” she said. “I
know people will be shocked because they grew up with me as a child.”
Positive or a negative ::: Babera Walters " Us white folk will take care of you"
Sometimes people say things that can just roll right off your back and it is nothing. However at some point in time, I have realized that everything has a life and even words, and the statements they form. However this one has a life that is in the limbo of is it a positive or a negative statement. What does Babara Walters really by " Us white folks will take care of you" It is like a tongue slipped into the mouth, when the kiss was not welcomed in the first place.
At least we know Babara is not confused about her race.

Miracle at St. Ana :::: The Spike Lee Redemption

Now this is the Spike Lee Film that the world has been waiting for. I have the feeling that we will see this one Balloon into a box office shocker. With what the critics is already dubbing to the effect of the best movie of 2008.

Homage Blaxploitation with a bad taste in my mouth :::: Willie dynamite

By now it is apparent that I have honed in on a the blaxploitation era. I have made it my mission to open up a better understanding of what has taken place as well as shed light on that which we have deemed useless art. If you want to call it that, you may be right or you may be wrong. However my mission in this particular post is to talk about the aftermath of an era, by using our subject film as a spring board to make clear of the impact of a genre or films.
So the next subject up in my homage(used loosely) to Blaxploitation movie is Willie Dynamite. This movie is based on the redemption of a pimp. Nothing more nothing less, or as it seems. However I would like to fast forward into the past 20 years. This film has had an impact on the street corners of old factories, mills, and production plants. Behind the walls of the daylight, is the night most alluring creatures, the streetwalker, and not too far off is her pimp.
Although Willie Dynamite is not the cause of the worlds oldest profession. It was more of a how to, and how not to video into the pimp game. Something like a long play on the ins and outs of the Pimp Game. Although it is not factual or entirely accurate, what it is, and has been for well over 20 years now. Is a stepping stone, a 101 college course in pimpology.
Too many young flesh hustlers have attempted to emulate that which Willie Dynamite has portrayed forgetting his inevitable failure and fall over time. Fast success leads to slow decline, no matter the outcome.
I guess this one has left a true bade taste in my mouth. However, it is not for me to decide how you feel about it. What I will do is allow you to be the judge of that. So enjoy these clips that I have furnished for you.
You on Notice Bitch!
This guy strolls through the courthouse with so much charisma it is almost sicking. However I must admit when I first took a gander at his entourage I was delighted. It is time and the events after such a film, within the African American community, that has opened my eyes, to that which is not accpetable for the women of the world, no matter her tone of color.
Gotta Have Vision!!!! There is no other way to put it, if you are going to feed subliminal messages to a group of people. Now is there?
This scene right here speaks for itself.
Comedic callout of a situation :::: Reckless Tortuga
Wow I was slipping in and out of cyber space and I came across this. It rung so true to the reality that I hear so many face. So just sit back and watch this.
As a side note I will have my eye on this guy for now on.
