It seems that Diddy is making the rounds once again. He is now a recipient of the famed Hollywood star. The one coveted by many a dreamer. From a full life in the Hip Hop music game to fashion, and bit parts in movie. However what took the cake was not his role in one of the richest players in the genre, but his ability to break into all facets of entertainment.

So in short I take it that that the star is well worth it and I can not wait to see him earn that Oscar we all know he covets. The thing about this man is that he wants his hands on it all, and he stops at nothing to get what he desires.

So in saying this all I know now that for sure that if you stick to putting God first, everything else will follow. Although he is modest about the earn, I am sure, at one point he day dreamed about it.

Diddy says:

I am at the point in reality that I would believe just about anything that come my way. It seems that not much is far fetched any more. Even if it is it was fetched and someone retrieved it and made use of the information or tool. So what do we do if we come across some information? Do we keep it or discard it as if it does not exist and we look else where? Are we living in a bubble of lies and do not know a bit of the truth? Well it seems that prodigy of Mobb Deep feels this may be the case.

American Idle ::: How far is too far?

Apparently there is nothing Entertainment has gotten out of control. It seems that we continue to search for random acts on the individual basis to fill your computer screen and newspapers with just to sell advertising.

So my question is who rips on the ripper? Who will take it into their hands to go out there and smash the paparazzi over the head with a camera or two. At this stage in the celebrity reporting game, the Paps are becoming more interesting than that of the subjects. They are becoming the outlaw blood suckers of the Hollywood gold rush.

Now I am fully aware that we would not pay to see them in a movie just yet. That our celebrities are more precious than fine gems. However they are taking over the Internet and our prime time with shows such as TMZ, and lets not forget the mild versions that has gone under the pap radar detection without a trace, E, Access Hollywood, and entertainment tonight. We can not forget the prototype's to the madness.

So what do we do, to throw them a curve ball or two, to slow down their swing. First I think we have to stop believing everything that we see. Much to say and know in the arena of entertainment and entertainer news. I have a huge hunch that this will be the new form of American Entertainment, its the generation of the entertainment at the cost of the entertainer, era. Although it sounds like something that they hired on for, and became actors and musicians for, I feel that they crave the spotlight so much so that they would do anything to stay in it or get into it.

When you live in a world, where you can mash together a porn tape, then end up on a reality show with a semi wholesome image and go on to have a career in such format. It tells you much about the mind set of Americas new generation and what the world will be like in 20 years if we do not find a way to get the minds of our youth in the right place.

I am not one to knock pure entertainment no matter what form it is. However if it takes a toll on the current status of mind or matter, and destroys the will power of the citizens then we have a beef, that must be reconciled. At what point do we not take into account the madness, and measure our kids and current teen population.

Allow me to give you a prime example:

For instance take a look at Youtube and the amount of damage taking place with girls shaking their hides and kids staging fights just to get their 15 minutes. Now I know you can argue and say that this will take place in one form or another, however I beg to say, that it is happening at an alarming rate because the outlet is their for the youth population to carry out tremendous acts entertaining a larger audience. We all know that it is viral, and once it sets in it spreads until it can take over and host as many areas as it can.

So in saying all of this I just want to remind Americans and the rest of our global family that we need to rethink our thought process and spend more time building out minds and perhaps we will be able to put more out there that would be of an educational but yet entertaining alongside the raw and uncut entertainment. It is all about a balance that will play a role in offering up the options that will keep the minds healthy that partake in visual entertainment, whether it be from our stars or from a virtual unknown.

Although these videos are in response to something that has taken place, it will allow you a glimpse into the world I speak of. Also I threw in a video that may or may not advocate such acts but it reminds me so much as to what has taken place.

I am not stating that Entertainment or its entertainers are the blame, I am pointing at no one, but the minds that are soaking up such imagery and the parents that should guide them.

Box Office forsight ::: who will destroy the summer Box Office?

Here is another summer in which we will take the time out of idling to go and see a few movies and blame it on our children if it does not pan out to be awesome. However I think this summer will be different at the movies. With the Star power that the screen commands this go round, and the lack of a stable financial economy, I have the gut feeling that we will experience a box office blowout that will rival the past summer. I am talking blockbusters of mass proportions. This will be the summer everyone will not be able to afford that vacation so the money will be spent locally and less on travel and stay.

Why do I feel that way? Well take a look at the points in American Life when things were not looking so well and you had to find something to take away the pain of the reality around you. So you found refuge in fiction and books, surges took over box office tickets sales. Although people could not afford it they found ways to purchase movie tickets and get a does of the Hollywood drug called movies.

This summer is not different than the others before it. Also this time around you have the likes of CGI and and star power with the likes of ten kings and queens. With the fear that the economy will get worse people will flock this summer just to create memories that will keep the glue that binds strong in their families.

Although this is a prediction, I think there are many indicators in the past that proves my theory. All though I do not claim to be the ultimate authority on this subject, I have been watching movies long enough and focused on the box office year after year, to know that the box office boom is likely to take place this summer.

The majority of the big budget monsters this summer contain the Oscar Nominated/Winner, element, so few blockbuster films of the past embodied. This is the year of the prolific action star, that can do a damn good drama, comedy, and action film, and come back and give you the low key Oscar worthy performance in another movies, before the year is up. I think it is safe to say that we believe in the actors, and actresses, that we spend our 9 -15 bucks at the movie for.

So what movie will be the major banger this summer, that is a hard question, however Entertainment weekly seems to have it down to a science. From: Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the crystal, predicted to do a whopping $355.9 Million, The Chronicles Of Narnia : Prince Caspian at a mark of $310.8 Million, Hancock $280.4 Million, Wall-E $280.3 Million, Iron Man $ 262.7 Million, The Dark Night $255.0 Million, Kung Fu Panda $ 244.6 Million, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor $176.5 Million, The incredible Hulk $147.2 Million, Tropic Thunder $142.6 Million. Seems to be an impressive list and I would give or take, but they are barking up the right tree on this one. However I would Add that we have other sleepers that may take the cake as well. From Wanted with Angelina Jolie and Morgan Freeman, X-Files, and the Happening, which will mark the return of M. Night Shyamalan or forever break him.

So in saying all of this I believe we will have a robust buffet of movies to watch this summer, and would would have to divide our time to get them all in. The only thing that will break a movie this summer will be that random choice to see the one that is playing earlier or later. The indecisive movie goers are the wild cards, that will make the movie box office and one film or another. All we can do is sit back and just see.

Movie to reconsider ::: White Mans Burden

Thirteen years ago I was off in La La land, but a little know film breached my world of Sci-Fi Fantasy films and dropped a hypothetical atom bomb on my conscious mind. That film went by the name White mans Burden, starring John Travolta, and Harry Belafonte, and a great supporting cast. However I did not come to talk about the film and the year that it graced the silver screen. What I want to talk about is the impact that it almost had and why it did not have that and should regain over the next few years if Americans, want to face the race issues facing our country.

With a film like this set in an alternate America, it gave America, the chance to look at itself from the inside out. Taking apart the bigotry that plagues this country. Speaking on race, it shows that it does not matter the year or the time that it existed, what matters is that it exist and someone needs to put a stop to it, and the the racial malfunction. This film made that attempt to do so. However it was ahead of its time, and ahead of the questions that many Americans now desire the answers to.

I myself have seen a new American World, and society, however it is stifled by a past of pain and hatred, that is a boiling pot of hot water awaiting a volcanic spill on to the burning earth of racial malice. So what do we do in order to put a stop to it? I do not know the absolute answer to that question and if I did I would not offer it up that easy. What is important is that we take the time out to look for the solution and come up with ideas to break the wall in the racial cold war. Because there is a wall and the war is cold.

With White Mans Burden, I think it would be a silent step, but a crucial lesson for Americans to undertake in their own homes. This is an opportunity for them to learn the man in the mirror, but have a conversation with that man/woman, this time around. I am not one to push race into the face of the world, I am once to remind that we are all in it together and the sooner that we learn this the better our society will become.

As far as the film goes I am sure that we can take the time out to acknowledge great film making at some of its finest. Although this film is not about angles and the tech loving CGI, or the stars themselves, it bring that element so that you can enjoy this lesson as you would from your favorite professor.

Reality is the best university, however you have to be awake to learn. If you sleep walk through it, you will be left behind, or caught in a world wind of insult and grave lack. Every test you are thrown you will fail and have to take the lesson all over again and that pain in that is that time waits for no one. So stay on top of what it right in life and you will be able to make the world a better place.
