American Gangster-Golden Globe Nods

Recently reported and released, the news has hit. Golden Globe Nods, do I hear Oscar wants in on the nominating of this fine piece of work. He would not be smart if he did not. A little stuffy, but not smart. I say it can not be far off.

As of Friday, American Gangster has received two Golden Globe nods. As recently reported: Best picture of the year

"The movie, which stars Denzel Washington as Harlem crime boss Frank Lucas, topped the box office upon its release in November and has grossed over $100 million dollars.

Just a thought:

As far as my personal views on the film, I think it was a great piece of American Cinema. The acting is superb, the back drop is well placed as a character in the film. Bump Forward and look for the Oscar.
