American Idle :::: Minds are burning from the media smoke

Entertainment has taken a tole on "Americans", to the extent ,that they do not know any longer how to grow on their own. They have taken to the televisions and to checkout counter tabloids for their information and entertainment. Considering the tabloid a form of literature that's informative and thorough. They have no sense of what is correct, and what is not. It's is as much an epidemic as any other, that is masked behind glitz, glamor, and sexual charge. When will the madness stop?

The press is not guilty of misleading. This is a public demand that is fed by the media. If the populace decided, that it needs more than what it is getting, then it will get more.

As I have mentioned you have Television and Movies, that has a huge impact on parent-less homes and idle adult minds. Homes that are run by the Television, which is great entertainment, but that is all that it is. Adults have the same exposures that of their young offspring and those who look up to them. Causing an imbalance of pure knowledge versus pseudo Knowledge.

Homes that are not of the orphan type; but of the I have my mother and father or at least, one of the two, but they are not there, to guide me type. So in turn when no one is watching they find that which is forbidden or most entertaining to them. In many cases they tend to fall on that which they do not have the proper understanding of. Life will imitate art, there is not one doubt about it, and we can see this today, right this very moment you can turn on your news and see what I am writing in living color.

As far as the adults are concerned well you know how to figure this one out. You see them in the office hanging around the water cooler or stopping by your cubicle at least 3 times a day with nothing important to dispatch to you. They stop by to gossip and breath your clean air and dirty up yours with the emissions that will stifle your thoughts. Who cares if the lady on the other side of the room is overweight? Go talk to her and let her know how you feel and be nice about it, and maybe she will join the gym with you and you could train her to get in shape. Also who cares if the boss drives a 300C and he cheats on his wife? Too many people pretend to be something that they are not, because they forgot a long time ago how to be themselves. So they find fault in others and seek them out to destroy them. When in turn they are just as deficient or more so than their target of interest.

In closing what are we to do? Should we turn off the tube? I think at least once a week or better yet an hour or two on the weekday to get to know your family and yourself. If you take time to talk to your wife you will learn more about her and wives the same should be done by you. If you would help you children with ideas they have, homework, etc., you can grow with them, and what they watch on TV will be of no value to forming their identity. In saying this the same goes for you as an adult. Take the time out to build something, with your home whether it is just you or several in a family setting, even roommates work in this experiment. Get out on the town not to drink but to learn new things. The media will always be there, we have TV Record, Tivo is for you who needs to build your minds, not just for those who cant catch it because they are too busy to watch at the time. Utilize these tool for good. America is falling behind in production, and I think if we can rebuild our minds, our creativity will come back, and our economy will begin to grow again. The divorce rate will begin to fall, and relationships will have less turnover. If we spend to much time emulating what we see in the media, those who we come in contact with will never have a chance to know the true person behind your facade. BE REAL!

Writers Note:
In all seriousness I will do my part as a citizen of this country and of the globe to search this as deeply as I can, and I will return here weekly to give you a does of my view of the media as it is structured today. Topics will range in focus, but will have one aligning theme and that is the huge misconception that it has placed in the minds of the people. I hope that this journey that I about to embark on reach those who has the power to change the media and its approach. Also for the parents and adults in this world; to become better role models, that will teach our children the difference from entertainment and reality.

As I have promised I will bring you the Politics and the policy behind entertainment. Which means for me is to share with you as much as I can, as far as my take on the media and entertainment, in all its forms, as I can. I hope as I embark on doing so I am informative and if you meet my opinions with question(S), feel free to leave a comment. I will respond to all comments in timely manner.

Now lets return to my regularly scheduled BS reporting. Ha Ha.
