50th annual Grammy Awards ::: Amy Winehouse Performance

Amy Winehouse gets the Visa...?

Amy Winehouse was granted the opportunity to come to the US, after the embassy decided to reverse the decision not to grant the singer access to the United States. The Singer, who has the most nominations of any artist this year has decided that she will continue her show as planned, Via satellite. The judgment came to late for the artist to change plans and staging.

Her reps had this to say:

"Unfortunately, due to the logistics involved and timing complications, Amy will not be coming to the U.S. this weekend to perform at the Grammys in Los Angeles, however she will still be performing via satellite broadcast from London as previously announced this morning. Amy would like to thank all of those people, and in particular the staff involved at the U.S. Embassy in London, who have all worked so hard to expedite her application. She is very sad not to be attending the prestigious awards in person, but wishes to express her heartfelt gratitude to all of those involved in the process,” reps for the nominee said in a statement."

AmyWinehouse, Kanye West and Michael Jackson Grammy Face time

Although the cool and savvy singer Amy Winehouse will not be on American soil, she will hit the stage anyway, Via Satellite live from London for our Grammy show. The Singer was denied a reentry visa due to her current status on her own soil, the American embassy does not feel the songstress is fit to perform, let alone leave her state of rehabilitation. So for all of us TV viewers it would not matter much, but for her fans in the nosebleed and fellow artist that enjoy her music will have to catch her next time around. The soul of Amy Winehouse is unstoppable and I will see her beat this, she just need a good detox program.

Also We have the King of Pop Hitting the Stage, I received the confirmation Via Fox news. Michael Jackson will be selecting a song from his hit album Thriller, so expect to see the white glove and possible the moonwalk. It is highly probable that he may do his current clear channel smash remake of his hit with Akon " Wanna be Startin Somethin".

Kanye West will hit the stage as well, and I am sure the "Stronger" rapper will relinquish his current pain into his show. Performing song "Hey Mama" and "Stronger" in dedication of his mother's life, in which she passed on, on November 10, 2007. May we remember the gift she bore to the world, in an artist that is true to his craft.

Here is the projected liste of performers that night: Beyonce & Tina Turner, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Aretha Franklin, The Clark Sisters, Isreal New Breed, Trin-I-Tee, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Kanye West, The Foo Fighters and Carrie Underwood.

Bon Jovi/Linkin Park :::: Wanted Dead or Alive/Breaking the Habit

Some time has passed since we heard a great rock song that could touch the souls of many as this song has. However this is not why I am posting this video for you today. My desire was to find a song or songs that would fit into the madness that celebrity has to deal with every single day.

With artist such as Britney Spears, The late Heath Ledger, Amy Wine house, Eva Mendes, Kirsten Dunst, Kiefer Sutherland, and a host of others, I wanted to send these songs out as a token or my appreciation.

Artistically positioned, poetic response to what they are facing. An uninformed interpretation of speculative reasoning. Hoping this would allow them the opportunity to see that the world loves them, and has some level an understanding as to what they have to deal with daily. The motions they have to go through, the ideas they have to live up to, the personal characteristics they have to cover in the facade of a smile, although the pain is deep.

My hopes that this poetic tribute spreads, and give leverage against the demons, that are against our beloved stars. That they may beat every last one of them, and come away victorious, so we can go back to complaining about bad hair choice, or bitching about them driving in cars we do not drive, and why did they do that movie or produce that song for their album(s).

May all health come to Kirsten Dunst, Amy Winehouse, Eva Mendes, and Kiefer Sutherland. Somewhere on this globe someone agrees, let it be known and they shall begin to free themselves.

For all Celebrity or Cubicle inhabitant this song is tribute from Enterpolics to you. To the Family of Heath Ledger, he is well loved by many, and always keep in mind, that the truth is not in where you have been , but in what you have left behind, his daughter is a gift to the world, may all good come to her.

Linkin Park -Breaking the Habit

Pay it forward!

Amy Winhouse will not attend this years Grammy Award show.

Unfortunately Amy can not attend this years Grammy Award show. The decision has been made by the American Embassy in London. The official there do not feel that she is fit to travel abroad at this time.

Here is a statement from her Publicist:

“Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago, and although disappointed with the decision, has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery. Amy has been treated well and fairly by the Embassy staff and thanks everyone for their support in trying to make this happen. There will of course be other opportunities and she very much looks forward to visiting America in the near future.”

Rollingstone-Britney Spears make the cover

Brief rant about covers and what is,in between the sheets that may draw, the depressed star deeper in to their pain. Speculation is my tool, my goal is in the hope, that artist in the public eye will have the opportunity to recover from life's ills without scrutiny in mass media.

Rollingstone- Brittney spears makes the cover for the February 2008 issue, the rest of American artist take second string on the headlines. It seems that many writers, including yours truly find the topic of Britney spears to be riveting, filled with ups and downs, and twist at every turn.

Many of us find it quite difficult; to let go of the gold, flowing from the streams of her name. The milk from her breast; is flowing into the mouths of many, and her children suffer from the episodic moments of pain and media induced misalignment.

The negative attention alone; will come back to bite at the feet of her children, and because you have the publishing houses, needing to close the press day/month with a story they can be bought with out hesitation, they do not sit back and say to themselves are we helping the situation or are we making it worse?

When Rollingstone cover artist with public issue, it is not up to the public to feed off of this. Allow that person to be, and heal, give them a chance to recover, before you feed off the bottom of the persons name. With a story aiming at the artist pitfalls, somehow we end up catching the artist going deeper into the unrealistic stupor, that they live in.

Take a look at the Amy Winehouse cover.

Take a look at the Kiefer Sutherland

I demonstrate these covers and have omitted other in my promise to leave a name that can not defend itself alone. If you care to research my speculation feel free, and keep me posted. If you would like to share your point of view, leave a comment or send an e-mail to Enterpolics.

Anotherone Enters Rehab: Good Luck Amy Winehouse

Amy's Record label announced the singer will be in rehab to assister her in kicking her chemical dependency.

Here record label is reported saying:

“Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors,” Universal Music Group said in a statement.

“She has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction,” the statement said.

My Opinion:

Amy may all your strength be with you and that you kick the habit of destroying yourself, and taking from the spirit of that which makes you who you are. Do not drown you emotions in a thick cloud of smoke. Give to those who listen to you, the gift of your soul, your music, is an inspiration to many, and we need to have your gift, to keep on giving. Forget what others have said, remember the gift of your fans and the ones who look up to you, and the future that you dreamed of from the beginning, the glory days are in your heart, now its time for you to make those days come true.

Scottland Yard investigating Video of Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse has no end to her saga. It is reported that, Scotland Yard has began an investigation into the video that alleges the musician is Smoking Crack.

The Police has stated that they have yet to file a charges against the singer, Until the current investigation reveals reason to do so.

The video aired over the Internet yesterday, showing the Singer lighting a Glass pipe. The majority of spectators presume, based on the artist's disposition that the contents of the pipe is Crack Cocaine.

Her Father has released a statement saying that this video is the best thing that could have happened to the artist and just maybe it will prompt her to turn her life around.

Here is the statement made by her Father:

"Your video of Amy taking drugs may well be the best thing that has ever happened to her,"

Her record label Universal; made a statement that it would do what it could to help her.

"We are deeply disappointed and upset by these latest revelations and are doing everything we can to offer Amy our full support in dealing with her problems,"

My Thoughts:
This is yet another place in time, with another character in the ongoing chronicles of Entertainer and Life-Titled Demons held close. As always, I want the world to support them and not encourage this behavior, do as you can to make sure, that they see this is not the path, in which to take. Survival of our role models is more than just the well being of the individual entity, but the children that look up to them.
