A legend can not give you anything less than legendary along side Andre 3 grand!

These two have offered up something of a delight. This song is filled with vibe and style. I would not have it any other way.

Ne-yo ft. John Legend and Cassie

Now I am digging this. I have awaited the day the day that would come that someone would give us the chance to watch a music video that payed homage to Boomerang. Which I think is one of Eddie Murphy's last good films.

This is a good modern take on the film. So I am truly digging it and would not mind seeing a remake of the movie. However with a stronger plot, and some awesome actors.

Movies to reconsider ::: Failing is not an option

I usually plop onto the computer one of my favorite films. However this time around I would like to share with you some films that share a common thread. The linking characteristics of the films we all share in the world no matter that activity, the circumstance, or goal. When we are placed in a position to achieve we must or face utter shame, isolation, and a host of other post event symptoms.

So to begin my trip towards achievement. I want all these perspectives to grab you and pull you into the universal world of circumstance not only giving these films more recognition or to slip back into popularity but for you to watch these films with purpose. With that intention of not taking no for an answer.

Here is a film with gumption that can not denied an entry into the Enterpolics Hall of Fame. Starring Demi Moore, Viggo Mortensen, and Morris Chesnut. The film is a break down of the male genders fear of the female potential into the armed forces, and mainly the entry into one of its highly elite teams, the navy seals.

I saw this film in the movies almost 11 years ago, and to this day I remain a huge fan of its message. A strong balance of guns versus will. When you are up against the odds and it seems best to quit and all those around you tell you that you can not make it. Your will must kick in in order for you to achieve the goals that you see fit for you life, to attain the end result for you life that fits directly into the future in which you always knew would be, if you just worked hard for it.

In the film Demi Moore's character is told time after time that she will not make it. That this is not built for her and that women can not be Navy Seals. Those closes to her, such as her significant other is not too sure and comes across as unsupportive and suggest that she should not follow through. Even with that in mind she continuedc on, also with the women in high power postions in congress unwilling to bend the presidence set by man, she still goes on.

If you are female this film with touch home becasue of the limits that were placed upon you by your sex. Those limits are based on many factors, however the ones that are illusions to name a few, are incappable, not strong enough, cant hang with the guys, mental fortitude is no applicable, and the list goes on.

Gi I jane will break the anti achievment cycle that you carry within, therefore breakin down those walls of oppression and denial. Giving anyone of has ever been restricted and forced in the opposite direction of opportunity teh stregnth to find and user the tools needed to make it to the top. Anyone who has been held back based on their differences will relate and want to aspire to achieve that which belongs to them. This film is a stepping block to that courage. Because that which is, is in their hearts.

GI Jane in 10 Minutes.

Although this clip is a ten minute summary, I hope that you go out to see the film to feel the full impact of such a journey.

Actor Julius Carry an ode to the Last Dragon. May we alwys remember him!

There is not much that I can say to this. However what can be said that he will forever be loved and missed. He has brought to film a presence that could not be replaced and characters that will not be forgotten.

Here is what sources have to say::

Character actor Julius Carry died Aug. 19 in Los Angeles of pancreatic cancer. He was 56.Carry appeared in more than 100 guest roles including “Hill Street Blues,” “Jag,” “Spin City” and “Moesha.”

He also appeared as the villain Sho’nuff in the cult pic “The Last Dragon.” Other feature credits included “The New Guy,” “Moving,” “World Gone Wild,” “The Man With The Red Shoe” and “The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh.” Born in Chicago, his first screen credit was in “Disco Godfather.” Carry is survived by his wife Naomi.

Movie to reconsider :::: 'Dead Presidents' a few scenes

Hollywood has many movies that have slid below the radar and deserves to be up front and center. However, it seems that for many reasons, that I do not wish to go into. Great films go under the radar after only seeing a week or two in the movies. MMMMGGHMM..Ethnic Films!

Allow me to proceed. I want to show you a scene from Dead Presidents Starring Larenz Tate, Keith David, Chris Tucker, Freddy Rodriguez, N'bushe Wright, and Bokeem Woodbine. This film will spark debate, and raise up within the deep questions of war and poverty.

Enjoy

LIL WAYNE & JUELZ SANTANA SPOOF

Here is the song/Video that sparked the idea.

Let me know what you feel.

Say it is so ::: Laurence Fishburne Closes the case

Actor/Director Laurence Fishburne will join the cast of the hit TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. William Petersen does not have to worry his replacement is in.

It was stated that Fishburne has been battling for this spot for some time now against the great John Malkovich. Although for me either or would do, but I must say I am happy to have a powerhouse such as Fishburne on show. He is in my top 20 of all time greats. So this is a great moment in news for me.

It is great to see such a veteran with so much range under his belt to join the cast. Having him return to television is great. I think the last time we saw him on television he was dressed as a cowboy, in Pee Wees playhouse.

Now I do not want to leave you guys with a taste for play time. Allow me to show you the range of this beast we called Laurence Fishburne.

Ayah is a problem

As usual I am roaming the web, and decided to go and see if Enterpolics
had any new friends on Myspace. The friends awaited, but something
caught my eye before signing to see my popularity. That something was
AYAH an artist out of the Northern part of the Americas, in a place
called Canada sitting right there in the featured artist section of
Myspace music.

Ayah is bringing something fresh that I do not
get to see often. Plus she is dropping a free down load and I knew I
had to share her new mix tape. Fresh out of Toronto Canada, we have beauty with flavor, no cookie cutter protege out of a cereal box line up.

I hope to get a chance to bring
her to Enterpolics. I will keep my finger crossed in the meantime here
is her video and contact information along with the download link.

I see $$$ Signs in Jay Z's future...

...but does he? It seems there are rampant stories lining the eyes of the internet stalkers. From one end I here that he may sell the club or at least a piece of the action to the Las Vegas Sands Corp., then on the other, I here that it may shut down in total because it is not making enough money. So what is the deal. Someone get back to me and let me know.

Either way I see it this will not go down with out skeptics and lost souls wandering and wondering what Shawn Carter will do next.

Just Snippets :::: Entourage

I needed to stick my head in and offer up something easy to share. With all that has taken place in the last two weeks, with the loss of Isaac Hayes and Bernie Mac, I had to find something soft and raw. What better place to look, other than Entourage!

So here is the best moments of Entourage. Enjoy your week and do not go to work looking as if you're someones favorite bar monkey.

Kanye has done it again. I love it. The little Puppet is genius and the director of this put down some good work. This is Hip Hop at its finest.

Mas....I mean P Miller is stepping up to a new level in the game

I have to respect this guys movements in showing the country and inevitably the world(mainly people of color), that possibilities are not determined by your background. Master P has taken a $10,000 check left behind by a relative, and turned it into something huge over the years. Although many hardcore Hip Hop heads may not agree with his ability to rap or make a classic record I am sure that they agree on one thing. This man is about his upward mobility by any means.

Read the current statements on what he is doing next:

Percy Miller (formerly Master P) announces the launch of
Better Black Television (BBTV) a family friendly network that will
provide positive content for a black and brown culture that will appeal
to all races with a goal to bring people of color a choice when turning
on their television. The content on the channel will contain a wide
arrangement from health and fitness, animation, financial planning,
reality TV, sitcoms, dramas, movies, responsible hip-hop music and
videos, politics, sports and entertainment news, educational children’s
shows as well as teen and family programming.

Better Black Television is the brainchild and passion of some of the
most diverse, powerful, celebrated entertainers, influentials and
trendsetters from the Television, Film, Professional Sports, Corporate
America and Music industries. These visionaries all share the common
goal of enhancing the current television landscape for this highly
coveted demographic currently monopolized by only a few significant
providers, with fresh, innovative, uplifting and above all
family-friendly entertainment.

Some old footage of Tupac Shakur

Tupac Shakur interview with Arsenio Hall 1994

This guy was a running river and the waters have not been quieted. I know that the world has a problem with his genre of music or who he was before he left. However I have learned with my eyes and within my own life that things will be seen and things will happen in life. We will sit back and judge that which we see, however can we really judge when our eyes only show us a piece of the story?

The Weekend has arrived. So what are you going to do?

I know what I am going to do this weekend. Have a safe one, and leave your computer at home.

That Will Smith Camp.....

It seems that Overbrook entertainment is not taking a bow, because the show is not over. While braking down barriers with films such as The Pursuit of Happiness and this summers blockbuster Hancock. They are hard at work putting out more films that can be considered ground breaking in terms of characters and who plays them.

Samuel L. Jackson playing the role of a troubling neighbor who just happens to be a police officer seems interesting. I just hope that the film is more compelling than this trailer. I am interested but I am not completely hooked. Sam has not been sinking my displeasure in his work as of late. However he is always entertaining, and who can forget Black Snake Moan, in which I thought he did a good job on. But I am still having snakes on the plain nightmares and it is not the snakes that are bugging me.

An Ode to Black Women :::: As I promised I was going to expand my focus

This is for those out there that think that beauty has one look, one face, or one presentation. I hope by showcasing this I am able to add to the movement of bringing African and African American women as a whole into the limelight. I think all women are beautiful and would like for this to showcase a missing piece of that representation of beauty. This is something that we can not deny. The brown skin of African Women, the tension in the hair that allows it strength and it appearance that has been ignored by to many even the majority to African Americans.

Gut Buster ::: Sorry Mr. Carter and Mr. Carter

This was just too hard to pass up. However I must respect the real thing. So I offer to you Mr. Carter by Lil' Wayne Ft. Jay-Z.

Bernie Mac will live on in our hearts

Since I do not feel like I should sit on his death and re run the emotion. I would like to take the time out to pay tribute to a comedian unlike any other. A stand up comic that was an all around stand up guy. Funny as he was serious. Bernie Mac will always bring laughter to those who can remember him for what he came to do and that was to make our heart open up with his hysterical antics.

Here are some clips of Bernie Mac doing what bernie does best. May he rest in peace knowing that he is loved.

What more can I say :::: Kanye & Jay Z @ MSG Announcing the BluePrint 3

Kanye & Jay Z via KanyeUniverseCity.com Live @ MSG 8/6/08 New Blueprint 3 "Jocking Jay Z"

I am last to know...

It seems that my corner office gig, and afternoon briefs would not get in my way of my writing. However I am beginning to see that it conflicts with my creativity. I have been so far out of touch that I think I am beginning to take on the likes of the clueless. Perhaps that will not be for long, because as I have promised I am taking the time out to bring the news and my random musings, along with ideas that I find to be of use in our society today.

Anyway, the reason I stopped in to say anything today, was I was wandering the web, attempting to get back in to writer mode and I realized the news is out that Morgan Freeman made his way home. That is great news because he is one of my favorite actors, matter of fact he is in the top ten.

So that is all folks I will be back later with some awesome movies to look at, and one album that I think went unnoticed for far too long.

Back to bring the words.....

I spent some considerable time attempting what I should bring to the table today. However I realized that I have not eaten with you guys in a while. The week that went by has been a hectic one and I neglected to share that with everyone. My schedule was filled with trips to the roller coaster often. As non stop as this week has been that is no excuse and I promise to bring back to all of you the hard hitting, focused post that I am known for.

My love for Entertainment is stronger than ever and I am more in love with the magic that it brings. From the box office numbers and record sales. To the art on canvas to the sculpted pieces in my favorite art gallery.

I do want to alert all of you to the evolution of Enterpolics. I will not only focus on entertainment, but I will take it deeper. Also I will bring more reality into the mix my life and the things that I see day in and day out. I hope this evolution will serve a purpose and will allow all of us to enjoy and explore life for what it has to offer.

Enjoy your weekend.

Morgan Freeman is a tougher than we think....

All I have to say is get well my good man. There are many other movies I need to see you in, because what you bring to the table no one else can.

ONLY ONE MORGAN

For those of you that have not heard Morgan Freeman has been in an accident but suffered minor injuries and should be back at his game in no time. After he undergo light surgery, to correct his injuries, I suspect he will be back filming while in a cast as soon as he can. Forget P.Diddy, Morgan is the one that can not and will not stop.

My best meditation and prayers with Mr. Freeman.

" My best tour ever"

Shawn Carter is not only a savvy business man, but I think he goes by the name Jay-Z, when he is entertaining those who wish to watch. So as I have it, he thinks that his alter ego has done the best work ever, in terms of touring the globe.

Although he has stirred quite the controversy since he touched stage at Glastonbury, which is a British Rock festival. He has been on a roll ever since and has not slowed down. According to Jay-Z, he has delivered the goods. Not only that but he feels that this is his best run ever, which will continue until he hits all his stops in Europe.

I know now that he has something to say, the critics will be watching just to see a flaw or two. However I know the jigga-man will reign supreme.

CheckMate :::: 50 Bought the rights to his Ex's life story

I am now coming to terms with the fact that their is so little that I know in this world. The possibilities and what not. I tell you this when I hit the bank, I am getting me some kick ass lawyers to represent me.

All there is to it, is that he has one smart legal team behind him. 50 Cent is a genius! A madman! Whatever you wish to call him, but you can't call him naive, that's for sure.

This dude purchased the rights to the idea that the mother of his 11 year old son, may get it in her head to pen a tell all. Enough said! Source.

Now that is playing the music!

Video Premier ::: Slim of 112/ Ft. Shawty Lo & Yung Joc 'So fly'

Why is it that a guy who talks over a beat and strings together a few rhyming words, that sounds like a rap is considered a rapper? We could have done without the Shawty Lo verse. I guess there is no considerations for the art form anymore.

My Bad Folks this is not about Mr. Lo, but about the return of 112 artist Slim, who was the lead singer of the group made famous in the late 90's by the one and only Mr Many Names, P. Diddy.

Slim - So Fly (Feat. Shawty Lo & Yung Joc)

From the boards to the Camera ::: Ryan Leslie's Diamond Girl

IT seems that this guy can do anything he puts his mind and money to. Although this short is briefs and uses music to speed up the outcome. I think it is a cool short that will get the industry buzzing around his ability to score a film as well as act in it.

Perhaps seeing soon from Ryan may be in the woks.

Hard Hitting :::: The Lena Baker Story

A time comes in ones life when a choice has to be made. That time may come often and the feeling of limited to no options overwhelms the soul. The feeling that surrounds your cognitive ability to live in the moment with all that you have. That feeling of being cornered. The outcome of that feeling is more so a burden than a reaction.

Choices

The Lena Baker Story

I love her but....WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! :::: Solange just has nothing much to say

I love this one from the Knowles camp, but is it just me or does she have a tough time stringing together a thought without pause? I guess it does not matter when you are this pretty. Heck I just wasted five minutes of my time just watching her talk.

Words Spoken by a true OG ::: Jay-Z

My two cents : Jay-Z is the epitome and prototype of what all rappers rap about. However I would like to add that, most rappers are afraid to speak their minds and say it out loud, that they want to get as far away from the hood as possible. However because they fear the beat down or worse, their mouths are shut or saying the opposite. Also I think it is a mental prison that they can not see. It is good that the hood has someone such as Jay-Z to look up to. To aspire beyond their limits and break down barriers.

I hope that by saying this. The few that heard it will begin to spark the brain of those who will carry on the mission of revamping the mind set of the African American youth and African American Adult.

Here is what he has to say:

"I think it’s more important for me to be in touch with
who I am than in touch with the streets, per se,’ he says. ‘Being in
touch with the streets, keeping it real, that’s become a lie and a
cliche. I’m not hanging on the corner in the Bed-Stuy. I hate it when
rappers say, “I’m keeping it ‘hood.” I’m like, “Why? What do you mean?
No one’s there by choice! You’re in the hood, by choice?”‘

Bling he feels was misinterpreted by the media as tasteless showing
off, when really it was a celebration of success by people who had
enjoyed precious little of that before. ‘These people came from
nothing,’ he says. ‘No-thing. The bottom. And when they got money and
cars and houses it was a party. Like, us being here, at the
Lanesborough, eating caviar? That just didn’t happen before. Why not
celebrate that?"

Thanks to Bossip I was able to bring this to you guys.

American idle :::: Disecting the African American Audience

A while back I posted in a Movie to reconsider, my adornment for Love Jones. However I did not expand as much as I thought. I stated the nature of the film, along with the delight that it has brought to homes, and its legendary, highly classic representation of Love. Not only that, but African American Love. I focused far too much on comparisons. Instead this time around I will display some scenes and allow you to be the judge of this film.

I am doing this to dissect the movie going habits of the African American Community. Although many believe Love jones to be contrived and forced, the chemistry of the actors in this film goes without saying. Many films carry such chemistry and the leading characters Nina(Nia Long) and Darius( Larenz Tate), is fused with passion, and leads you to believe they almost had something off camera. It worked so well, and has gone unnoticed by many, many romance films fail where these two succeeded.

Before I move one, allow me to say that this film opened doors that have been shut. I have not seen such a magnificent piece of work come out of Hollywood since. There were movies that came close and were great, but they were as far under radar as Love Jones, it is as if they do not exist. Movies such as HAV PLENTY, Love come down, and this new one that we should add to the account Medicine for Melancholy. These three films are prime examples that the people are not paying attention, as they would to a comedy, or Gang Drama of African American Creativity. I do think that the audience is out there, but the problem is that the majority of the black communities that these films represent very rarely want to revisit these moments or do not have the time. They prefer to laugh off life or charge it back up with Gangster films so that they can survive the streets. This is a cycle that needs to be broken in order for African American films to grow in range. The offerings are low in terms of categories. Personally I am tired of comedy that is more slapstick than clever, and gangster films that is more cheese than creative. Its becoming embarrassing to watch and I honestly do not support them. I prefer a good plot that makes me think long before and long after it is over.

The Networks, the Studios, and the creative teams behind these vehicles are not sure if they should take the risk. The demand is there but the audience is smaller than the will of the studios risk capital. So we get these Hybrid love movies( i.e. Meet the browns, which is good but not enough) that do not make it beyond the first three weeks. Although the box office take is good in comparison to the productions cost they are not as complex as can be. Also these films are not reaching long term success at the movie house. So in turn they are not reaching a wide range of people. I understand that success is good when you are in the money. However it is not just about the money. It is about art going unnoticed in Hollywood.

I think instead of blaming just Hollywood, we need to look within ourselves as a racial group. The fact of the matter is that we went to see New Jack city, Boys in the Hood, and White Chicks. That list may run on, but my point is not to knock these films. However, is that all that you want to see? There has to be more than that to your movie going experience. Should the studios survey the African American Community to see what they want to see? Should the African American Community ask of the studios by petitions to produce the numbers to get the tape rolling? I do not think there is any one way. However a way must be found to make the next stage of Hollywood come to life.

Perhaps the African American community do not know how to portray these stories? Is it the people or is it the studio? I personally think it is both. So it time to look at product, producer, and consumers alike.

Here are the clips I promised for your entertainment and for your look over. Enjoy and get back to me.

Before Midnight ::: She will not talk to a square!

Now that I am in the position to answer a question. I have to make my
best effort to help a guy meet a lady. By the way ladies, this post will not put you out there.
So be kind and read as well. It will give you some inside ideas on how
to deal with the approach.

So I found myself wandering the thought-scape, attempting to figure out the beauty of the chase. Since I received and e-mail of someone asking me how to meet a lady on a Saturday night.I must be honest about the time that has lapsed since I met someone. I am a little tide up at the moment. However I must be nice and pull from my mental archive and share the thought.

Although it has been a while the game does not change. So you go out there and do what needs to be done. For me I I never had any one way of meeting anyone. I just felt the moment and went with my gut. It usually worked out for me. Quite possible it can work out for you as well. If not, read on!

So if you want to meet someone at a club, lounge, or restaurant. Some things need to be understood and always respected or you would not have a chance in hell to get what you think you can get from the situation.

So the best thing to do now is get out your pen and paper or warm up that printer. Here are 7 +2 rules to be well aware of before midnight.

  • Work out and eat properly before going out. (Trust me you will feel confident)
  • Read a newspaper ( You will have something to talk about, but do stay away from grim news. The entertainment and/or business section usually works best)
  • Don't be shy
  • Always introduce yourself with confidence
  • Never ask for a dance offer the dance to be had
  • Take into account she is not alone and pay attention to her friends
  • Never buy her a drink that is not on her menu
  • Don't become a shadow ( Introduce yourself, have a drink and walk away. If you are worth her time, she will ask for your number)
  • You should know this one. But your clothes, breath, and attitude must be sharp for you to pull off the first four.

Now go out and have a good time and if you can meet someone before midnight let me know. If it is after midnight its, just not worth it.

Here are some videos to get you charged for the night, the rest is up to you:

Kindred The Family Soul "Far Away"

"Easily the sexiest song that ever came out the 90's. Also the most underrated group to ever hit the scene so much so I have to double the bonus of Christion and show you so more of their work. Before I do so, I would like to say that I respect RocaFella Records, however they did a piss poor job of marketing this group. WTF!

CHRISTION - Full Of Smoke (ACTUAL VIDEO)

Christion Midnight Ecstasy

Now tell me I am wrong! I dare you!

Here is another artist who was faded into the background. He goes by the name of the great unknown Carl Thomas. Seriously Carl Thomas, was another great R&B act that did not recieve fare due. I think RAP, and the focus of its money making potential may have been the down fall of such a great art form. If it does not dance or spit, it is not worth it, or as so they would like us to think.

Here is Car Thomas

Man so much comes out in the day ::: Is it true Ross? Say it aint that simple!

Wow I got wind of this a few days ago and I did not know what to say about this. Now I am still at that stand still, and I fear that his career is going to go down the drain. If only he chose to just rap, and let it flow instead of making up this huge persona.

Many questions is going to be raised about the authenticity of this guy and his close and distant affiliates and I know they are heated.

I can see it now 50cent having a field day with this one. One for Fat Joe being a close affiliate of Rick Ross to name one. So I hope he has a good story behind this. Perhaps he was a dirty correctional officer. Oh well, I am sorry to hear this, and I wish him the best in all his future moves.

However please note before you judge his gangster. He has been locked up and probably in the same jail her worked in.

To suspects in Washington found knocked the %#@@ out on stolen goods. Now I get the feeling this went one of two ways. These pillows were stolen by someone else. I need to know what the people think on the New Yorker Cover which touched on a subject that has been plaguing the Senator Obama camp for a long time. However Due to the nature of the New Yorker magazine, they were able to put this out. If anything comes against them, it may be for a few hairs if that, in terms of the losses they may incur.

However instead of me rambling on and on. I would like to know what the people think about it. Before you give me your opinions I want you to take a look at two covers. The one from the NEW YORKER and one from VANITY FAIR. The latter is of course a direct hit to Senator McCain, however I do not find it that much of an offense, but a decent companion to erasing some of the sting from the New Yorker that Americans may feel.

Then again, what do I know.. That is why I am asking you guys. So talk to me.

**Please note that the Obama cover has aburning flag, and the McCain Cover has a burning constitution.

Omarosa gives Wendy William a run for her money...

Omarosa can't be invited anywhere. Or can she?

I think two of the most imposing women in entertainment went at it for kicks. It may look like Omarosa was set tripping but the way that their legs are crossed towards one another. I would not be afraid to say that they have a thing for each other. Then again who am I to speak on the topic.

Wait and see. I think that this will go beyond the stratosphere. I would tell Tyra Banks to get her head at a higher level. Wendy Williams, the female shock jock is gunning for her.

I just had to do it....

When Jay-z popped his head out at Glastonbury and begin his show paying homage to Oasis. I gained ten times more respect for him, and in comparison for the amount that I previously held for him, that is a heck of a lot of respect to give.

Now I know this subject is several weeks old, but this is legendary in terms of the amount of notoriety that gained. This will forever be one of the largest venues to blow open the doors the way that it has.

RESPECT IS DUE TO THE GREATEST HIP HOP GENERAL TODAY FOR BRINGING BACK OLD MEMORIES WITH WONDERWALL BY OASIS.

There is no other way to put it. It is my blog damn it and I can do as I please and Oasis has made a home here. No bias on my side of town, is there any on yours? If so you just dont get it, now do you?

Did Ashanti Come a long way or what?

I think that it is safe to say that she has a lot more control over her art form. For her level of game play in the HipHop/Pop/R&B category, she is bringing some style to her work.

Although I think she is sticking to the formula the more I listen to it. She has executed it well, and for many artist, that stick to this formula, manifesting a hit has been slightly harder. I would like to see he do a little more in terms of lyrical content, however this is a good effort overall.

Oh did I forget to mention how Sexy she is now.

Batman is Far From Dark @ the Box Office

I must say that Christian Bale is the most Successful Batman ever. He is cleaning up the cities and small towns, one box office at a time. Pulling in a whopping $155,340,000 and counting. Which is for a weekend, we have yet to see what it does over the life of its box office rampage.

From what was predicted about this summer, I can honestly say that I am not a fortune teller, but the numbers are pretty darn close. With Batman 100 million short of knocking down the mark set for it by Entertainment Weekly and plenty of time to go, I think the success is there and I fear not to say inevitable. Although there are some misses, with Chronicles of Narnia, Speed Racer, and the Hulk Struggling to make back its money. I think with the overall outlook, minus speed racer, we have a success of a summer, that will be one for the books. Sorry Speedy but you just did not cut it in the domestic market.

We will see what happens, the rest of the summer is still here, so I am sure we will see some surprises over the course of the next 4 weeks. So keep your finger crossed and enjoy this summers movie buffet.

Paper Plate (50 Cent Diss or Miss?

Many times over I have been left in the position that would force me, to come to terms with the nature of hip Hop Music. For long I loved it so much I slept with Hip Hop, and never cheated on her. However I am at the point where I do not know who is for real and who is not. It is one big show that forces the need to ponder the whats and whys of all.

Look at a legendary group such as Wu tang clan. You have a group larger than a small arena, that has placed on Hip Hop a license to move into the new era. They will forever be known for what they have done. Then you have them beefing internally and now one of their members is taking that anger outside the camp, to 50 Cent. A rapper that may or may not respond, and if so, how much damage can be done and to whom?

So what I need from your minds is a pure response to this track and maybe your take on Hip Hop as a whole. Give me feedback on this one.

Break the dishes, break the glass, but can you really break the dance?

This is incredible and can tell you much about how lazy the rest of the world is in comparison. Here are some pure examples of the physical capabilities of the human body.

Movies to reconsider :::: 'My Blueberry Nights', 'Hero Wanted', and 'Revolver'

As of late there has been a rampant array of movies hitting the shelves that had a short theater life or did not see the popcorn vendor at all. Movies that are great in comparison to the market, shelved into. Is it me or are we stuck in some sort of twilight zone, where movies that actually carry substance will not make it past the first week? Why are really cool films being overlooked? I do not know the whole answer to that as of yet, but I know that there are some things at play, that's not right.

In the past four years alone movies such as Revolver, My Blueberry Nights, Hero Wanted, have captured the eyes of many enthusiast. However found themselves slipping under a virtual radar of sorts. My hope is to shed light on these stealthy films of great art. Forget the critics, they suck, they do not have a clue and I am beginning to think that they get paid to say, what they say. Think about some of the films, they gave away stars to, or thumbs, that should have went up their asses.

First I would like to touch on Revolver staring; Jason Statham, Ray Liotta, Andre Benjamin of outkast, and Vincent Pastore. Now do not let the cast of this film fool you. It is not some lame attempt to fuse Hip Hop, Gangsters, and a Englishman that can kick ass and take names. What you see is not what you always get, and this film gives you minute after minute of surprises that can not be ignored. There is no kicking ass with fancy foot work, or slick slang from the streets, or lame gangster bravado. This film give you a thick offering or mind boggling riddles, and slick styling, that only Guy Ritchie can offer up. I would like to tell more but then I will begin to give away far more than I plan to. However I can leave you with one thing on this film, do not sit to close to that which you can not see.

Second I Would like for you guys to take a look at a love story that sneaks up from the rear and steals your heart, and rebirths your imagination. In its raw presentation, you receive a film that opens the mind to the possibility of love. In my life time I have come to feel that we are truly six degrees away from the truth. If only we take the time out to open our eyes and slow down. However how is that possible when all that we have to do, needs to get done, now? That I do not have the answer to. However I can tell you one thing, the journey can be shortened if you opens not only your eyes, but you heart. So I say ’My Blueberry Nights’, offers this short trip to enlightening your mind on the subject of love. What you take from it is up to you, but I guarantee you, if you have a heart, something will be with you long after that DVD stops spinning. I guarantee you that, Jude Law and Norah Jones will blow you away.

Third and not least, we have a action filled film, lined with a mystery and love, that causes me to ask the question, why is this film under the radar? Just as the other two films, I was taken away, into a world, that was unlike my own, but I was able to comprehend what was going on beyond the images. ‘Hero Wanted' offers up something that I can not begin to describe. This film is filled with the mystery of the persons heart and true intent, clouded by a past that only can be revealed in a series of events. Cuba Gooding Jr., offers up a film, and in my opinion, some of the best acting, to hit this market in a while. Then again I am sucker for decent scripts, and this is more than a decent portrayal of words sprawled across the page. Lets not forget Ray Liotta burning up the script, with his brand of acting that is slowly creeping back up on us.

Trailers:

So in close head this is my must see list for this month. If you do not see these films you are doing your fetish for films a great disservice and nothing good can come of it. See these films then come test me, by letting me know what you think.

The reincarnation of a photo shoot :::: Keri Hilson 'Energy'

Now I never thought anyone would be able to pull off the Halle Berry Photo shoot that made my blood boil as if it were infused with Lava rocks. Oh how wrong I was. Keri Hilson, picked up my foot and put it deep into my mouth and not only did she pull off the photo shoot, she made it into an energy filled music video.

Now that Halle is taken, I now know that I have a shot at Keri Hilson, for what it is worth I will knock out anyone who think they will get first dibs, it is my dream and when I wake I will be taking names. Plus the last time I let go, some dude came along. name Aubrey and ended my career run of the worlds hottest women. WTF! It wont happen again.

Whoever is her manager, and who ever is on on her team, I want to send this note to you. Good job, I could not have imagined this one coming my way.

Keri, call me!

40 is the new 20 and thats so for real

I must say that between LL cool J and Jay Z, hip Hop cant die, and with the roots, Mos Def, Wu Tang( if they can get along), Rakim if someone can give him a deal that will make sense to him so he can work. Hip Hop will forever have wise lyrics and grooves that can keep you into Hip Hop for what it is. Which is an art form that has no age.

However you just have to respect your age and the rest comes natural.

Without further ado I want to give you a piece of that proof:

LL Cool J ::: 'Baby'

Video Premier :::: Farnsworth Bentley, Kanye West, Andre 3000 and Sa- Ra ' Dont Stop'

If Rappers had the balls that they say they had. They would lighten up and show a lighter side. However I think they are not up to the challenge and do not have what it takes like these gentleman. Every time Andre 3000 hit the mic, he bring something fresh and clean.

If only Hip Hop took his cue and went with it.

I a not saying that any one genre of Hip Hop is wrong or right, however I would like to point out that it needs a chill pill.

Vieo Premiere ::: 'Hero' Nas

Nas Feat. Keri Hilson - Hero (Official Video)

Video premier :::: 'Sly Fox' NAS

It is no question that Nas's new album will be the target of much outrage from the mainstream news media. However I hope those who are able to unplug, will have the gumption to speak up after analyzing the truth and lies which will lead to a proper weighing of the facts.

Now that Fox has decided to take the power in their hands to falsely decipher the purpose of the lyrics behind Nas's songs. I decided to give you a video that he put out in response to that outragouse cut and paste that Fox pulled off.
